Hey guys,

I wonder if anyone can offer me any help/advice?

My 6 month old Yorkie pup, Rory, is still not housebroken! We have tried everything, regular trips out when we first got him, rewarding him when he does his stuff in the right place, puppy pads, newspaper, you name it!

My husband and I both work full time, so my main priority at the moment is training him to use the puppy pads - as I know he wouldn't be able to go our whole work day without peeing! The problem is, whether we use puppy pads, or newspaper, he much prefers to drag them around the apartment and rip them to shreds!

I'm thinking about taking a week off work to re-focus on training, if anyone could offer me any advice on how to get him to use the pads, rather than play with them, that would be great!

Other than that, obedience training has been a breeze with him!
