Like Iams, Eukanuba was once a good premium pet food who built a really good reputation through the quality of their product. But they sold their company and with it their brand reputation to P&G, who reformulated the product for mass production.. It's not the same food/formula that it was when they made a name for themselves. Even if they just change suppliers it changes the food, but going to mass production required a lot of product, supplier and quality control changes.
I wouldn't feed it to mine just because I really don't have a lot of faith in the corporation, they aren't quick to recall if something comes up, and their primary motivation is financial instead of nutritional.
That being said, I know a lot of people who use it will have dogs who are just fine.. I'm just an over protective mommy to my fur baby..
