Done! That is horrible, I will be thinking of him.
We are really trying to spread the word more and more about drowning, as it happens far too often. Currently, it's the second leading cause of death in children 14 and under, and first leading in 18 states! Yet the issue is hardly brought to the forefront!
I have been doing my 'investigating' work and gotten a few contacts. As of yesterday, Josh Turner, country singer's agent agreed to send us an auction item! Dang I should be a
PR person

If anybody is good at writing or good with words... I am sending out letters tomorrow to a few talent agencies of certain celebrities and their law offices, etc, stuff I've found, and I need a simple way of explaining how this issue needs to be brought up.
Anyways, if anyone is bored, and wants to... you can send an e-mail on over to Ellen DeGeneres! She seems very giving and willing to help people out so maybe if enough people her our story, she will give it a look.

Connor Freed was 2 weeks shy of his 6th birthday when he tragically lost his life on June 22nd, 2006. He was found underneath an empty lifeguard chair at a country club pool. He went into cardiac arrest in the ambulance on the way to the hospital as it was just too late! A defibrillator was available that day but no one was trained on it nor knew how to use it.
We never wish this tragedy upon any other family and wanted to make a difference with our loss! Please, let's put an end to drowning- the 2nd leading cause of death in children 14 and under and the FIRST leading cause of death in 18 states! It happens entirely too often and too many families are shattered by this senseless tragedy!
