 curious neuter question
Next week I will be calling to set up Pistol's neuter. He is three years old and not neutered yet. We bought him from our breeder who was keeping him for a stud dog, but he got to big. I don't think 5 pounds 4 ounces is big but, to big for breeding I guess. My question is just out of curiosity, my regular vet charges 450.00 for pre op blood work, the surgery, pain meds, and one post op visit. My sister just had her yorkie neutered at another vet in the area and paid only 300.00 for the same stuff.I won't take him to a different vet. His vet has been seeing him since the day after we brought him home. Just wondering what most people are paying for this procedure? Any thoughts on aftercare would be greatly appreciated. |
