Thank you everyone... I cannot tell you how exhausted, elated and over whelmed I feel. I swear it's been a long time since I've cried that hard.....So you all know she had a scheduled c-section scheduled today at 12:00 well mother nature de...cided she was going to a little earlier...She went into active pushing labor at 1:30 am and wasn't making any progress (but at least we gave it a good shot) she just wasn't bring the puppy down at all. Then I went potty and she disappeared I searched for 15 minutes for her I was like what the heck where can she be lol then finally found her in our bed under the covers with her water broken all over my hubby's legs! he didn't even realize lol so at around 4:30 decision that enough was enough she wasn't making any progress I pulled the plug especially after I saw green fluid . I started calling some emergency vets picked one and raced all the way there a 45 minute drive since my vet didn't open till 7:00 am....See More

I was shocked I even talked to him over the phone and he never said anything about making sure I had money (hubby get's paid t...oday I told the receptionist)She said didn't matter no cash no service I was hysterical I had already knew it was a super long labor and was frighten we'd loose puppy. So I cried all the way back home another 45 min. drive and headed to my vet's office at around 6:30 am and waited for them to open then to find out that just because they opened at 7:00 am the actual Doctor didn't get there till 7:30 am so the long and the short of it she had a c-section done and she is in recovery and we have 1 girl PUPPY and gezzz I am tired with no sleep and ready to just have another good cry of relief that we made it and mom and baby are here alive!!! THANK YOU GOD!!!! What a blessing!
Ok, once again. You have a dog you know will likely need a c-section. You decide to allow it to labor for several hours at home. Only AFTER it has gone in to distress do you start to locate emergency vets. Why are you calling around? Comparing prices? Why choose one that is so far away? If you had time to call around to vets, you should have had time to pick up your wallet. Just saying...

Sorry, I get that emergencies happen. But this wasn't an emergency until you let it become one. You knew the girl would require a cesarean. You know that costs money. You know that vet offices are closed for more hours than they are open. If you don't have that emergency fund readily available, then plan ahead and apply for care credit.

Poor, poor little Mylie. It really is a shame that she ended up with someone who is so completely clueless and cruel.
