hey!!!
ARe you currently in korea??
I'm prepping coco to move from seoul to toronto.
Since i'mnot from America, I'mnot sure what the process would be but i doubt it'd be much different from Canadian policy
Canadian policy states that the dog needs to be up to date with all of his/her shots including rabies and need a letter in English or French (if in Korean need to get it officially translated). Once entering the country, there will be on site vet and the vet will check over the certificate & the dog for $20 CDN
I am flying Korean Air direct in August and because Coco and the kennel is under 5KG total, she will be flying in the cabin with me. The airline rep told me that they only allow maximum of two dogs on the plane (not sure if this includes cargo) and your request for the pet needs to get approved by the airline (which takes up to 48 hours) and it is costing me 270 000 won (aka about 250$)
If you are thinking of getting a yorkie in Korea, PLEASE do NOT go to the vet, animal stores, or pet stores. no matter what they tell you they all come from puppy mills!!!
I got coco from a reputable show breeder in Korea. There are only 2 reputable yorkie breeders in Korea. Let me know if you want their contact information.
