To those of you with water loving dogs - did your dog just take to it right away, or did they have to try it a few times before they learned to love the water?
I'm trying to remember...

I got Jackson in December so it wasn't until late May that he was able to experience the water. My dad has an inground pool so I was lucky enough to have lots of opportunities to try it out. For the first summer, he would voluntarily lay on the step and he always enjoyed that (so, by this point, he was 7 months old or so). Then I carried him in a few times so he got used to the steps and he always seemed to enjoy it... this was his 1st summer with me. By the 2nd summer, he was a diving fool. I feel like this year he enjoys it even more!
