I'm all for credit Unions. I love banking with Premier America Credit Union. I do have an account with BOA as well. I love my UCI Alum debit card. I only have an account with them because there is an ATM in front of my house, whereas the CU is 40 miles from my house. The convenient ATM is for when I need cash for cash only eateries, like my favorite tacos. It only has 3 branches. All of which are far away. I can use shared branches but they're a pain in the butt sometimes. I love direct deposit though, and I never ever have to buy checks with my CU. I use online bill pay, and if I need to give my dad a check for any amount, I can mail him one. :-) It all works out well.
