Yes! I stopped using my Paypal account to pay for things. You can still pay with a credit card number and just chose not to log into your account. When I have to send money, I just use my fiance's Paypal account. The whole thing makes me angry since obviously you've been good for the entire spending limit without issues, so why do they think you want to give them your checking account number or open a paypal credit card. Yeah, no thanks!
If you are comfortable giving them your checking account number, that is all that is required to "verify" your account, and you will be able to continue using your credit card of choice. I just didn't want them to have access to my checking account. |
