Just horrifying! I don't think any of us (at least here at YT) would blame "pits" but the owner, Ross. It just kills me when ppl get these poor dogs bc of their appearance but do not spend the time training them, working w them, socializing them, or properly supervising them. Unfortunately, there is a big difference in a poorly socialized 5 lb dog and a poorly socialized 100 lb dog. In addition, some ppl tease and mistreat them to "toughen them up". This whole situation is heartbreaking. I am glad the owner of the yorkie is trying to hold Ross responsible and is trying to teach him there are consequences to such irresponsible pet ownership. |
