Well, you're right about the abuses, but also right that there are laws here, too. The first 3 things you mention are everyday practices, but the others are what you might call 'glitches' or whatever, though those things happen every day, too. With the Chinese, it's a way of doing things...period.
I liken these inhumane practices to pornography. By that I mean that there are different levels. You have Playboy all the way up to Hustler. Then you have the really sick, sick stuff. China is the really sick, sick stuff.
And no, I'm not a fan of dirty pics, in case anyone is wondering

. I just think it's a valid comparison. I do agree about factory farms (who wouldn't) but it's hard to change things in an economy where people look for 'cheap' first and ask questions later.
Something like this needs to be the norm....
