If you can't feel his ribs when you gently stroke your hands down his sides (down press hard) then he's a bit chubby.
Syd gets chubby in the winter because we can't walk her. And there just isn't anything I can do about it.
I didn't look to see where you live before I hit "reply" , but if it's warm there try taking him for daily walks. That should melt the weight right off of him. And maybe switch to Nylabones instead. |
