Here's the deal here. I adopted her from my municipality's animal shelter. These are the animals that were picked up on the streets in Florissant, MO or the owners have given up. If the owners have not picked up their pets within 7 days they can be adopted out. This shelter I don't believe does any vetting. If the animals have not been adopted out within 30 days, they are sent to the St. Louis County shelter where it would be determined if they are still adoptable or will be euthanized. The animals adopted from the Florissant shelter are free but you have to get them fixed within 30 days. I don't want to take her back because she is a really sweet dog.
