I do a topknot in Fido like longhaired breeds like for example lhasa apsos and shih tzus have when they are not in the showring to maintain the facial hair, cause they are not wrapped for shows and the fur goes in the eyes and in the food and water if they dont have this topknot.

Most often I skip putting plastic bands in the beard, he doesnt like it much
