When I come home and my boys greet me, they have their ears curled down around their heads while they bobble on their hind legs and wave their arms. I love it.
If your dog socializes with other dogs, watch what she does with her ears and head position. The way she feels toward the other dog will show in her body language, ears being a big signal.
