I have a fearful , anxious little yorkie. She hates it when the fire alarm sounds, their is a blackout, or anything out of the ordinary. We had the city fireworks show over the weekend, and it was loud. Suzi did ok. Fireworks are not banned where I live. So I leave bedroom doors open and she can run in there to feel safe. I absolutely hate it when Suzi is so scared she shakes all over for a long time.
