Jackson is terrified of fireworks! Absolutely despises them.
Last year I made the mistake of having him sitting outside the restaurant with me when the fireworks show started in Gettysburg. Big mistake. He basically tried to crawl up my back, however far he could get. So I took him back to the hotel room, but the 'damage' had already been done. He laid under a chair for about an hour until 20 minutes after the show stopped.
This year, I am going to be prepared and STAY in the hotel with him *before* the fireworks even start, I will probably turn everything up loud, LOL and hope for the best. |
