I think it would only lead to a new sentencing hearing not a new trial. Convictions will be upheld, they would only need to have a new sentencing hearing.
I'd rather see her get life in prison without possibility of parole - and let's face it if she got the death penalty it would be years before it would be carried out, as you say there would be all the appeals etc. |
Not me. If any case is screaming for the death penalty it would be this case. I don't think of the death penalty as a deterrent but a punishment for heinous acts.
