No it was a regular vet. I had Nya/s records sent from the vet that did surgery and made sure I got a copy. Her tummy is actually starting to look a little better, before it was her entire tummy that was swollen and it even hurt her to touch her flanks, now she is swollen about 2 inches out on either side of her incision. She is still very bruised. Seems the metacam and the hot compresses are taking down the swelling.
As far as a reaction to the sutures he said when they have a reaction it usually passes in a couple of days, he explained her body is trying to get rid of them?
