Another vet visit for Nya QWe just got back from the vet, her bloodwork all looks good except her red count is a little low. He has no idea why she is doing this other than the trauma of what happened in surgery and the pain. She was fine before we walked into the vet office and the second we got in the door she started SCREAMING, I mean screaming. After her checkup he was trying to get her interested in eating and wanted to see if she had any bit of appetite so he gave her nutrical which she accepted, then he opened a can of A/D and when he tried to hand feed her she would not take it, he put some on the table and she would not eat it, I put it in my hand and she ate about 1/6 of a can. He gave me medications to worm her as we do not know if she has been wormed or not. He also gave me a herbal med to try to stimulate her appetite. He said if she is doing okay by Thursday to give him a call and if she is not then obviously we will be talking to him sooner. He said the swelling in her tummy may be due to some kind of reaction to the sutures, i said what do we do if it is, he said well we try to manage it, if we cannot then we have to go in and get them out. They are internal dissolving sutures so.....I PRAY we do not have to go that route.
