I had rescued a yorkie girl who was in a terrible (!!) condition...somewhat different from this one though. Let me tell you, it's A LOT of work and a LOT of money. I, like you, really wanted to save the yorkie, but it ended up costing a lot more than I had originally thought. I'd suggest turning him into a good rescue, which I tried to at first but no rescue would take her. Do make sure a rescue would take him before you bring him in. Otherwise, you will have to be responsible for him. She may just post a fraction of what he needs...
