My beautiful baby Morkie Bettina. After months of 'trying' for a Yorkie (extremely rare down under!) my partner and I were blessed with Bettina. Though we adore her endlessly regardless, we are hoping she takes on more Yorkie qualities than Maltese. She has the same coat, coloring, size and stature of a Yorkie.
She is extremely high maintenance and affectionate (like her mama).
She is going through a 'chase me' phase where she runs into a room, picks up the first thing she sees and bolts out
To my horror she has developed a love of handbags and climbs into my handbag at every opportunity and makes herself comfortable. I SWEAR I DONT PUT HER IN THERE! Already prone to Paris Hilton comparisons, I quickly take her out.
My biggest challenge at the moment is training my little pet. Sit, roll and beg can wait. Potty training is top priority!! Although my angel was a quick learner in the beginning, bless her little heart she struggles with it now.
I am impatiently waiting for Bettinas ears to prick up, at 10 weeks old they are still only half up. I am hesitant to tape them though.
She comes for visits with me at work and loves being the center of attention in the office.
She is the sweetest puppy and even my bf who is not a 'dog person' has fallen in love with her.
She is completely unaware of her small size and is quite cheeky with my full grown s**tzu.
I really must resolve to take more photos of my love, though I hope you enjoy those I have.
