Well, I'm a wreck right now. I brought Bentley to an E.R. clinic bc he was acting strange. I checked his temp and it was 102.9. He has been shaking all day and not his normal rowdy self. So anyways, I brought him in and they said while he was in the back he had diarrhea. We decided to try some antibiotics first and subQ fluids for dehydration. Also no food for a while to settle his tummy. If he isn't feeling better by morning ill take him to his regular vet to do blood work to check his pancreas. I'm so worried. Both are scary. Gastro inflammation is not as scary as pancreatitis. He is only a year old and weighs 4lbs. Is it common for them to have pancreatitis so young? Can anyone ease my mind or should I be terrified all night long? They E.R. vet is open all night so I won't hesitate to bring him back. Uggghhh...! So worried.
