washing doggies paws off after a walk seems reasonable. You know where you live and what can be dangerous to a dog. I think using per caution is a good thing. Dogs will lick their paws clean so it seems logical to want to protect them. I have done it before , but that was when Suzi had muddy feet. Their little paws can feel like sand paper. Dry and cracked. I think it is ok. But not a necassary thing to do every time. I worry about the heat more then dirty paws.
