Animal Smiley 049 Our 16-yr. old Yorkie also needs a retirement home

I am so happy to hear about the two 16-yr. old Yorkies getting a home. I have recently joined this post because we are in a similar situation, and do not know where to turn. Our sweet 5lb. male Yorkies is also 16 and starting to have bladder problems as well as taking medication for congestive heart failure. We both are gone most of the day and are traveling more, but cannot take him with us. We will soon be moving and are looking for someone to care for him in his last years; someone who can be with him most of the day and evening. We live in the Sacramento area and are hoping 'not' to put him down, but find a loving home where he can get the attention he loves and needs. It is the hardest thing we have ever done, but feel he deserves the rest of his life to be attended to, and not left alone so often. We had our Vet Hospital and our wonderful, caring staff at WAG hotels spread the word as well. Please help if you can ...
