Are you serious??? You cut strips of paper like one inch wide by 3 or 4 inches long, and you use paste or a stapler to attach the two ends and make a ring out of the first one, then you take the second strip and run it through the first "link" and staple it closed, and repete... you end up with a chain of paper links.... we used to do it for the countdown to christmas! Each day you remove a link! Its a fun thing to tear a ring off each day as your counting down to something exciting! I use them with the kids all the time! A month seems like forever... but watching the chain get smaller really gives children an idea of how quickly time does pass. For Christmas you can use red and green paper and use it as a decoration! And if they ask how much longer, I can just tell them to go count the chain! lol
How many rings would your chain have??? 60+ right! Hmmmmm. It'll pass so fast! You'll see! I can't beleive its only 8 days for me! It was forever when I started!
