My husband started calling her pita right after we got her meaning pain in the...lol. He was never a small dog person but she has converted him. They lounge in his recliner everyday together and take frequent naps on the sofa. We changed it to Pita bc she would respond to that vs the name I originally had chosen. Although I told him it's Pita like the bread and NOT the acronym!! Lol.
