The disposable pads intended for dogs are expensive. I use Walmart's Assurance underpads for people and they are cheaper. I get a package of 18 pads 23" x 36" for $5.64. When a pad gets wet I put it in a diaper disposal bag and throw it away. There is never a smell from the bag and I've never noticed a smell from the pad when it's on the floor. My husband says I have a nose like a hunting dog and can smell things that he swears don't exist so I'd smell the pad if it had a pee odor.
