That is what happened to Rosie at the first of this year. We had to go to the ER vet on a Sunday. She kept swallowing and it sounded "thick". Don't know how else to describe it. They said she had a throat infection that was possibly tonsillitis. she was also very clingy to me. Antibiotics and she was fine.

Has the vet seen her or was it a phone consultation?
