To me the grandmother has impeached herself but the prosecution will likely hold off pressing it home until they are done trying to elicit the wanted testimony from her. I doubt that she's fooling the jury unless they are a far different group than the rest of us or one of them has a secret agenda.
I heard on one of the TV news shows tonignt - from that Leon Padilla - that he thinks the trial delay is someway related to the Kronk testimony and the fact that Padilla thinks Kronk was tipped by the police has somehow come before the court, requiring some further legal research, etc., as to how to proceed with that witness. From the sound of it, Roy Kronk's testimony is going to be very interesting next week. I have never been clear as to the story of the discovery of the body and all of those phone calls, etc., so I would like to know what happened.
