My friend works with a rescue group and I have to say I am impressed. They really take care of their foster pups until they can find a new forever home for them. They interview prospective families, visit their homes for an in-home interview, and sign an agreement that if for any reason the placement does not work out they will return the pup to the foster group. A lot of the yorkies they have fostered were unfortunately abused or neglected - but that just means they get to spend a little more time with the foster family to learn most human parents are okay.
Sounds like your baby would be easy to place. So sorry to hear you may have to give her up. I hope you find a solution that is right for both of you. I am sure when you post on YorkieTalk you will find a lot of people in your area who would love to welcome her in their home. |
