charlie has this problem as well... luckily, the antibiotics cleared things up. however, the vet did mention a possibility of surgery. it is common in yorkies, from what i've read... try the antibiotics and hopefully that will make all the difference. good luck!

the other thing is always trying to keep his eyes clear of excess hair around them... so that bacteria can't get in or his cornea don't get scratched. i trim around charlie's eyes now all the time and try to keep them clean, since this happened.
