Glad that your little one is home with you. When Hot Rod had his surgery, he was given 6 weeks of strict crate rest. The largest area that we were allowed to have him in was 3 x 3. But when we did that, he would try to stand up on his hinds against the side of the pen.

In the evenings I would put him on an end table with his vest harness on and attached a neck lanyard to him and wrapped it around my wrist to keep him from jumping down.

The first 2 weeks were hard because he was still recouperating. The last 4 were hard because he started to feel better and wanted to go. Best of luck to you and your little one.
