The license would be to go along with his rabies shot. Anytime she has him out, he is suppose to have proof that he has had his rabies shot and should have a tag from the vet that is from the county.
Another thing posters have not mentioned is that he should have his teeth checked. Often with yorkies and all toy breeds they retain some of their baby teeth and need to have them pulled around 6 months of age. If the baby teeth are there (especially canine teeth) they can cause the bite to go off, but more importantly can cause extra tarter to build up and cause tooth decay. Tarter at this age can build up on the other teeth as well and over time, teeth decay can cause heart problems as well as other health problems. Teeth cleanings should be done yearly on toy breeds. Brushing their teeth daily will help to reduce the quick build up of tarter. Some vet can do scrapings, instead of a full dental cleaning. It really depends on how much tarter they have built up.
