Love New Joplin Adoption

Wow it has been a long time since I came to visit here - life has been so crazy!!

My DH is in Joplin working and he is going to go and adopt a yorkie tommorrow. They have approximately 800 pets without homes after the tornado. The little girl we are looking at was injured in the horrific tornado and is now blind in one eye and they reflect that she has bilateral luxating patella's that 'may' require surgery sometime in the future.

They actually have a few yorkie's and/or yorkie mixes but we are a bit attached to the special needs girl and feel she may need our help more than others - besides her having tugged so hard at our heart strings.

I plan to put her on our Petplan insurance and was just curious if the patella situation would be deemed a diagnosis and thus, a pre-existing condition. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance and I hope all of you and the beautiful furbabies are doing well!

Zoey is great and is looking forward to having a sister
