When I put her in her kennel, I turned it around so that the latched door was up against the wall. It was the only way to keep her in. Of course that was ions ago, she pretty much has free rein of the house. I gave up on trying to keep her confined while at home. She can tolerate short periods but long periods forget it, it's non-stop barking. She hates her kennel because as a rescue from a back yard breeder, she lived most of her life in a kennel. So now she hates her ex-pen and her kennel especially after having a taste of freedom. |
I just cannot get over how smart yorkies are. I think it's pretty amazing that she can lift that latch and get out of there. I just wish she would direct her amazing powers to potty training a little more...hehe.
