I'm glad to only I'm not the only one that has a dog that is scared of her farts.
My yorkiepoo Trixie is a riot when it comes to farts. I don't know if she has actually farted out loud or not. But somewhere or somehow along the way we started teasing her. We would make a farting noise and then say "Trixie did you do that?" She would sit her butt on the ground so fast. Then she will suddenly stand up, sniff her butt, walk a few very quick steps and then start it all over again looking embarrassed the whole time, it was so funny to see.
I have a cocker spaniel too and sounds like you may need to change her diet. Not necessarily the brand but the ingredients. My girl was farting a lot at one time. The silent deadly type. I switched her to a food with different ingredients and it all stopped. She is fed Blue Buffalo's Fish and Sweet Potato recipe, she does great with this recipe but Blue Buffalo's Chicken and Rice formula for example she doesn't do so good on. |
