This complaint isn't about a household member-it's about one of these ridiculous maintainance men, hope you don't mind.
I called last weekend cuz my fridge was 55 degrees! I had stuck a food thermometer in there when I noticed stuff wasn't cold. I ran to the 24 hour store & bought some dry ice to try to help it til morning.
I called & the on-call guy came. He opened the freezer & said "your stuff is still frozen, what are you talking about?". I showed him the temp & he "discovered" the problem...I had the fridge & freezer turned up too high!!! High as in COLDER in an effort to save my food. I tried to explain to him why & he said "ma'am, where do you see that at?", I was so irritated! I just said ok, my fault, blah, blah.
On Monday I called & requested the good guy. He came & actually investigated to find the problem-my whole stupid motor was fried! Hmm, wonder if I did that with the dial as well.
If you're paid specifically to fix things, then fix them, or at least attempt!
