We spent a long time in Italy and it was great to begin with but I was really sick of the food by the end Too much pizza! But I love the Italian lifestyle and the weather! I was surprised how much Germany looked like home. My favourite part of the UK was when we travelled to the small towns my ancestors came from. It was such a stark contrast the big cities we had been staying in and the people were so friendly and open, and they looked just as you would imagine little English countryside villages!

Pictures will come! We took over 2400 pictures Hopefully we'll go through them this weekend! I'm back at work today

We are looking at around 3-3 1/2 weeks when we go back to Europe next year. We are looking at 2 weeks in Scotland/Ireland and then either a week split between London/Paris or we are thinking of a trip to Scandinavian countries.
I understand about the Italian food, I ate a ton of pizza too, lol!
What small towns in the UK? We want to do day trips outside of London if we go back there. I really want to visit the quaint English countryside villages!
I am glad you had a great time!
