Hi Everyone - and Happy New Year!

I have just enrolled my 4 1/2 month old baby in PetSmart classes that run for 8 weeks. I had been planning on having her spayed in late Januray or early February. My 2 questions are when might she come into heat for the first time - and if her classes are on Thursdays could I go ahead and schedule her surgery for a Friday and expect her to be OK by the next Thursday??
