I think you posted that Cassie has dissolving sutures ? Gracie did not as my vet wanted to recheck in 1 wk & then again at the time of suture removal which is the norm 14 days, so the answer is 14 days. Do you have a recheck appt ? if not then maybe you should call & ask for one, for the 1st part of next wk. I'm not sure why my vet had us come for 2 rechecks as that's not something he normally does & Gracie did not have as much swelling as Cassie does so IDK but he must have had good reason. Anyway I would deff want at least 1 recheck if I were you.
Actually you could probably stop holding your breath after her recheck.
