This makes me so mad! Why do people think it is ok to leave their dogs in the car? My mom actually called me last weekend. She said she was at the outlets shopping and when she was walking to her car she heard two dogs barking so she followed the noise. Turns out it was 2 yorkies sitting in a pick up truck (the windows were open a crack). My mom said she peered in the window and the two little ones started jumping up and pressing their little faces toward the window. My mom, an owner of yorkies herself, said her heart melted. She said she was so ticked off that the owners would do that to these two precious babies in the car that she waited for the owners to come back to give them a, as she put it "piece of her mind". When several minutes had passed and the owners had yet to return my mom went looking for mall security. By the time she found security and brought them back to the car...the car was gone. She said it had ruined her day seeing little ones being mistreated. She said that she was so tempted to see if the door was open and if it was she would have taken them home with her (until she realized that would be stealing). It is such a shame that people think it is ok to leave their dogs in the car in this kind of heat
