P.s I would just get on my fours and put the pup in front of me and let them crawl to each other or let the cat come over, you don't want the cat to feel like you are favoring one over the other. Make sure to pet the cat the whole time through the first introduction and maybe say something like," ohh... look at the little baby ... it's so little ... now you have someone to play with .. since you are such a good boy/girl.. etc.." somthing to that effect. In other words soothe the cat so it does not feel threatened by the pups presence... hope this helps!

By the way... (sorry had to add this).. When Maddy came home she met Tommy(the cat) the very next day Christmas Eve.... well needless to say he took one look at Maddy and then looked up at me as to say, " AWWW MOM another one!!!" hee hee it was soooooo funny!!! Sorry had to tell ya'll!

Ohh shoot there's that Texan slang!@!
