Okay, guys I'm back from the vet.
The good news: he checked for any corneal abrasions and there were none (thank God)
The semi bad news: he has some type of blepharitis? I had taken Teddy to the vet about a month ago because he was getting an excessive amount of mucuous around his eyes (more than the usual morning eye boogies) and the doctor prescribed some eye drops because he thought Teddy might have some bacterial infection. I gave Teddy drops for 10 days and the excessive boogies went away...but after that they were slowly coming back and every morning I wiped more and more until today when one eye appeared red (as you guys know). The vet thinks that he just needs stronger medication to treat the "blepharitis" and he prescribed Opthalmic ointment. I really hope this clears it because considering that this is a reoccurring problem I'm getting concerned... |
