 Uh oh....
I haven't read all of the posts on this thread as it will take me awhile to do so but Lucy was overdue with her Dhpp so we decided to have it done today. We live in a rural area where there is a lot of wildlife and little creatures around, Lucy goes out on a leash only as we do not have a fenced in yard but I don't want to take any chances on the distemper for sure.
As a kid I grew up on a farm and people had a lot of barn cats and I saw a lot of distemper and it broke my heart because farmers don't do much about it and it spreads from farm to farm as the cats roam all over.
We are not on a farm but as I said we are close to wildlife and there are a lot of critters; skunks, gophers, squirrels, etc. and you never know.....
