Ha! ZoE does "ghost pees" too in an effort to get treats! She will go to her pad & actually squat down like she's peeing and then hop up all excited & go to where the treats are & spin in circles of excitement...and there is NOTHING on the pad. She is such a lil faker!!!
I give her treats everytime she goes potty, but not for the fake ones...I call her out on those.....although I know there's been times where I've not actually seen her go and I can't tell looking at the pee pad if there's a new spot or not...and she's gotten a treat

ZoE potty trained very quickly and I haven't had an issue since the first week I got her. But, I love my wood floors & my rugs, so I'm willing to give treats for the rest of her life if it keeps her going potty in the designated place and saves my floors.
