I've given Sentinel on a monthly basis to 5 different dogs (4 Yorkies and 1 Maltese, so all small breed) going back many, many years, and I have never seen a reaction of any kind, even when they were small puppies. I just stick it in a little peanut butter, they line right up to get it, they love it.
