It was terrifying as she never gets out other than on the leash so i kept thinking she wouldnt know what to do as she always has me with her. Little dogs seem to be very very popular at the moment so i was sure if someone did find her they would keep her and even though she is microchipped we have had numerous stories of dogs being chipped and then put in shelters and sold and chips not being checked so you get yourself all worked up. But its a happy ending and means we now know there is a way she was able to get out and take steps so that it never happens again.
It also shows what great friends and neighbours i have as everyone helped search for her
and of course i now know that there is a smalldog snatcher about just now so to take extra care even when they are in our enclosed back garden
