Well, much longer than anyone expected but, lil' Miss Gracie was officially adopted last Friday!
She is now the latest addition to a wonderful young couple who consider their doggies their babies. Gracie now has a small Yorkie sister, Bailee and a very, very, very large Golden Retriever sister, Layla who weighs 120 pounds of pure gentle giant love! Gracie adapted to her new family just as I knew she would and now Bailee & Layla have a new sister and Gracie's new Momma has the Yorkie she always dreamed of who would let her cradle her like a baby in her arms...that's my sweet lil' monkey girl!
I am usually happy when my fosters find their new homes but, this time it was oh so bittersweet...sniff, sniff
That lil' girl & I developed a b
nd that I will never forget as long as I live! In fact, just as soon as I returned from her new families home, I was getting ready to take a long break in fostering.
However, fate had other plans. Within a week I was accepting another Yorkie puppy to foster and tonight, my new lil' foster boy arrived. So, I guess he's here to soothe my soul for a little while until he will find his new family, too!
