As she blinks her eyes awake
, Princess runs to the door & jumps a couple times. Then she'll sit until I have free hands to pick her up. She taught herself this, I started to step on her once with groceries in hand. Luckily I step easy with her around & I didn't crush her. Guess she learned to wait until it's "safe".
I always kiss & hug her & say "What did you do while I was gone? Was you sleeping?", lol.
